As the name suggests, there are 3 wheels. Each wheel is your standard 37 slot wheel with a single zero. The wheels all spin independently and the ball drops in to the inner wheel. This is the first winning number. The other 2 wheels then stop giving the other 2 winning numbers.
Having 3 wheels means the stakes are trebled. In the demo game, it means that the minimum bet is £3 but in real play its 30p (the chips start at 10 pence on the real money game). All the regular bets are available, the only difference is that stakes are trebled. So while you can win 3 times as much, you can also lose 3 times as much.
There is also a side bet you can have which is called the colour up bonus. If the wheels line up in a certain way and you have placed this side bet you can win big. It starts off with a colour match which pays even money. That’s for getting all colours the same in your row and goes up to 1200x stake if you get 3 zeros in a row.
